BARKER-DUNCAN PHOTO ALBUM INDEX
102 Carte-de-visite (CDV) and tintype (ferrotype) photos were found in a leather-bound photo album held closed with two brass clasps. The album had an ornate plastic layer with four white plastic studs on the front and back covers. Inside, a title page said "The Photograph Album, New York." On the back inside page was an embossed mark, "Bookseller and Stationer, S. R. Gray, No. 38, State Street, Albany." twenty-five pages held two slots front and back for four CDV photos. The album originally belonged to Rhoda A. (Barker) Duncan.
