The Letters of James & Charity V. (Rowland) Claydon
About three dozen letters and documents survived the passage of time, from 1842 to 1876. Here they are, transcribed and lightly edited. Collectively, they contain a wealth of family history information. Most of the letter writers and their families have been identified in the British Census (1841-1901), the US Federal Census (1800-1880, 1900-1930), and in other Internet sources.
