Dear brother. I send you in Post office order registered letter $17.50 for one years interest on the two notes you hold against us. We cannot pay any on the principal this year, but hope it may be better with us next year. I should have been at your hands last Wednesday but I could not get in the bank soon enough.

We are all well & hope this will find you well.
