In the name of God amen, the seventh day of April in the sixth year of the reign of our Soverraine Lord George the Second by the grace of God of great Brittain France and Ireland King Defendor of the faith anno qui Domi 1733, I Thomas Thresher of the City of New Sarum in the County of Wilts--- Collermaker being but weak of body but of sound and perfect memory (God be praised) and being sensible of my own mortallity and revoking all former Wills heretofore made by be doe make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme as ffolloweth First I commend my sould into the hands of Almighty God my creator trusting through the merrits of Christ my blessed Saviour to be made persaker of life Everlasting my body I commit to the earth whereof it was made in hope of a joyfull resurrection at the last day and as for that worldly Estate that God has lent me I dispose thereof in manner and forme as ffolloweth Vis Tempri.s I give and bequeath unto Martha Thresher my beloved wife one guinney of lawfull English money and all her houshold goods of all sorts and all other goods that was hers before I married her and that she brought to me when and after I was married to her to be delivered to her att my decease by my Executor hereafter-- named item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Anne Lamb five pounds of lawfull English money to be paid in three months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Thresher my house or tennement being in Winchester and known by the name of the sign of the King and Queen and now in the possesion of Edward Newby Item I give and bequeath unto him also my house or tennement adjoining to the King and Queen and now in the possession of James Oakford both houses or tennements to be his and his heirs for ever all the rest and residue of money by me or due and payable to me all my wearing apparell and all my household goods and shop goods and all my stock of goods belonging to my trade of a collermaker and all my tools and implements employed in the trade and all other goods and chatteles whatsoever belonging to me my just debts Legacies and funerall expences being paid I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Thresher and doe make appoint and ordain him sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
