Edward Norman Miller was the son of George Welch Miller & Mary Ann Norman. Edward was likely apprenticed as a teenager to learn the engraving trade as he was listed in the 1881 Census as an Ornamental Engraver. Although he was listed as married in the 1881 Census, it was not until 1888 that it was official. Like his parents before him, Edward got married at the city Register's Office in Bristol. On the fifteenth day of May in 1893, Edward, age 45, died at home from cirrhosis, with a brother-in-law serving as the informant for the death certificate.
