GEORGE WASHINGTON MILLER (1904-1981)

George W. Miller was the son of Francis MILLER & Mary Jane Crook DREW. Being in the first generation born in the USA, he may have been named for the first American president. He was also born on Washington Street in Rochester, NY, and his paternal great-grandfather was named George as well as a grand-uncle. for high school, George enrolled in The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ. He then went to Paris to study the fine arts, including sculpture and painting. He continued his trade as a professional artist when he returned to the USA.

George married Helen Frances Springer, daughter of Earland L. & Frances (Gould) Springer on 8/25/1936 in Plympton, MA.
